MODELLING.

The device is provided with a user interface with which the logistic engineer can tailor the design task to the changing demands. In this way not only the optimum solution in a given situation can be found, but the device provided by us can find the answer to all design questions during the entire life cycle of the logistical system. A unique logistical optimisation framework system had been developed for the Siemens Plant Simulation system, and this framework system is perfectly tailored to the needs of our client in the case of each project. Thus our clients can use the software without any simulation modelling knowledge not only for the given project, but even for the solution of their other logistical problems, as well.

- Modelling is always preceded by the planning phase, and then, if necessary, we use the simulation solution as a basis

- Gathering input data: based on our competency, we can partially take over this task. With the help of our own development team we can gain information from any ERP system

- Specification: a description of the would-be simulation model

- Development: the simulation model is adapted to the selected alternatives

Logistical processes quite often consist of multi-stage and interacting elements that can be performed using several concepts. In order to design such processes a device or method consisting of a simulation model and a related optimisation module has been developed. Using this method complex logistical processes can be designed efficiently and with an accuracy higher than in the case of any other method. In the simulation model any process defined by the user can be tested, but finding the best result depends on something else: it is calculated by the optimisation module itself.

In addition to running the various process versions the modelling program will always calculate the optimum solution (e.g. in respect of the number of required human resources and equipment, the recurrence interval of expectable delays, etc.).

1. Assessment and specification: our simulation model will be prepared exactly with the right extent of detail and thus we can have the desired solution within the shortest deadline.
2. Generation of input data: the model uses the data provided by the client.
3. Model development: fully programmable, so the required process can accurately be mapped. Using our own development capacity, we freely develop an application cooperating with any simulation.
4. Testing: during the testing phase we make sure if the simulation model works exactly as intended.
5. Evaluation of results: it is always a common task with our client. The results may raise further questions and we help answer them as much as possible.

The result is a device with which our client can simulate the arising logistical design questions quickly and efficiently, and then, as a consequence, handle these questions at a later date, even after years.
